민중민주당(민중당)은 현지시각 6일 워싱턴D.C백악관앞에서 논평 <핵전쟁의 서막이 될 8월미남합동 북침핵전쟁연습 즉각 취소하라!>를 발표했다.
논평은 <다각도로 감행되는 대북적대시책동으로 인해 코리아반도의 핵전쟁위기가 계속 고조되고 있다>며 <8월미남합동군사연습은 전쟁정세가 심화되는 와중에 전개되는 매우 위험천만한 침략연습이다>라고 지적했다.
이어 <제국주의침략군대의 핵심인 미군이 중심이 돼 벌이는 8월미남합동 북침핵전쟁연습은 핵전쟁의 서막이 될수 있다>며 <인류파멸의 핵전쟁을 막기 위해서는 8월미남합동 북침핵전쟁연습을 즉각 취소해야 한다>고 강조했다.
계속해서 <미남합동북침핵전쟁연습을 비롯한 모든 핵전쟁연습의 즉각 취소와 주남미군과 해외주둔미군을 철거시키는 것은 코리아민족과 전세계인류의 최우선 투쟁과제다>라며 <코리아반도와 세계곳곳에서의 반미반전투쟁은 코리아의 자주통일과 세계의 자주화를 앞당길 것이다>라고 밝혔다.

핵전쟁의 서막이 될 8월미남합동 북침핵전쟁연습 즉각 취소하라!
1. 8월10일부터 26일까지 미남합동군사연습이 전개된다. 미국방부는 <코리아반도에서의 준비태세는 필수적이고 중요하며 우린 여전히 그것에 전념하고 있다>며 합동군사연습을 강요했다. 특히 <즉각전투대비태세>라는 말을 통해 군사연습의 본질이 북침핵전쟁연습임을 분명히 했다. 한편 미공화당하원의원은 <사회주의규탄>결의안을 발의하며 대북고립압살책동을 벌이고 있다. 다각도로 감행되는 대북적대시책동으로 인해 코리아반도의 핵전쟁위기가 계속 고조되고 있다.
2. 8월미남합동군사연습은 전쟁정세가 심화되는 와중에 전개되는 매우 위험천만한 침략연습이다. 영국 퀸엘리자베스항모전단이 아시아로 전개하고 있다. 항모·구축함2척·호위함2척·지원함2척·잠수함1척으로 구성된 항모전단은 인도·태평양역내에서 미국·호주·프랑스·일본·뉴질랜드·남과의 군사연습을 예정하고 있다. 미항모전단과의 훈련장소는 남중국해나 동중국해로 추정되고 있다. 현재 중국군이 남중국해·자국근해에서 군사훈련을 하는 이유가 다른데 있지 않다. 제국주의침략군대의 핵심인 미군이 중심이 돼 벌이는 8월미남합동 북침핵전쟁연습은 핵전쟁의 서막이 될 수 있다.
3. 인류파멸의 핵전쟁을 막기 위해서는 8월미남합동 북침핵전쟁연습을 즉각 취소해야 한다. 반제자주세력인 북과 제국주의연합세력인 미국간의 대결과 충돌은 반제자주세력과 제국주의연합세력간의 대격돌로 이어지며 이는 필연적으로 3차세계대전·핵전을 불러올 수밖에 없다. 미남합동북침핵전쟁연습을 비롯한 모든 핵전쟁연습의 즉각 취소와 주남미군과 해외주둔미군을 철거시키는 것은 코리아민족과 전세계인류의 최우선 투쟁과제다. 코리아반도와 세계곳곳에서의 반미반전투쟁은 코리아의 자주통일과 세계의 자주화를 앞당길 것이다.

Immediately cancel US-South Corea joint nuclear war exercise against North Corea in August as a prelude to nuclear war.
1. From August 10th to 26th, US-South Corea joint military exercise is held. The U.S. Department of Defense said, “Obviously, the readiness of the Korean peninsula is vital, it’s critical. And we’re still committed to it.” and forcely implemented the joint military exercise. In particular, by declaring “ready to fight tonight,” it clarified that this military exercise is a nuclear war exercise against North Corea. Meanwhile, the Republicans of the US House of Representatives introduced a resolution “denouncing the horrors of socialism” and organized isolation and pressure maneuvers against North Corea. Due to the hostile policies of the United States against North Corea, the nuclear war crisis on the Corean peninsula has moved to a higher level.
2. The August joint U.S.-South Corean military exercise is conducted as political and military tension is escalating around the Corean peninsula. Therefore, this invasion exercise is extremely dangerous. The British Carrier Strike Group, led by the aircraft carrier Queen Elizabeth, is deployed in Asia. The carrier battle group, consisting of an aircraft carrier, two destroyers, two frigates, two support ships, and a submarine, is planning military exercises in the Indo-Pacific region with the United States, Australia, France, Japan, New Zealand, and South Corea. Also presumed are exercises with the U.S. carrier strike group in the South China Sea or the East China Sea. This is the only reason why the Chinese military is currently conducting military exercises in and around the South China Sea. The joint nuclear war exercise conducted in August by the US and South Korea against North Korea is focused on the US military, which is the core of the imperialist invasion army and can be the prelude to a nuclear war.
3. To prevent nuclear war from destroying mankind, the joint nuclear war exercise between the US and South Corea to invade North Corea planned for August must be canceled immediately. The confrontation and conflict between North Corea and the U.S. are at the forefront of the great conflict between the anti-imperialist and independent forces and the imperialist allied forces. Inevitably, this will provoke a third, nuclear, world war. The immediate cancellation of all nuclear war exercises, including the joint U.S.-South Corea nuclear war exercise against North Corea, and the withdrawal of U.S. troops from South Corea and all foreign countries is the first task of the struggles of the Corean nation and the peoples of the world. The anti-U.S. and anti-war struggle on the Corean peninsula and throughout the world will advance the independent reunification of Corea and world independence
